One of mine did that !!Behind the bobbin case on the left is a finger made of steal take your finger and shove it back in place or push it left into place and it will release everything!!Thants what my problem was carolyn

when mine seized up like that - it was thread caught - that I never could have seen - I had to take it in and leave it to be repaired and serviced.

We looked at it again and it has to go in the shop because we can not find it. And I had 2 days that I could sew!!

Mine did that . The repair guy fixed while I stood there. He said when something malfunctions and it locks to prevent damage to the computer and the machine sort of a safty feature. He fiddled with some thing in the computer section and had to stick in some codes and it unlocked. Took him 15 minutes and I was on my way again. It has not happened since. Good Luck Suzanne
