Did not visit Cute yesterday. Terrible rain (which we need so badly) flooded out our garage and part of our house. Spent the day mopping up in our pyjamas!!!

Thanks Alice. A neighbour bought us some sand bags over and we have placed them in front of our garage. We are expecting more rain today. Hope it will not be so bad.

As they say when it rains it pours but it didn't have to flood your home. I'm so sorry, hope the water didn't do any damage. Glad you have a kind neighbor to help you out too. Hope the rains are much slower today and home stays dry.
Hugs, Karen

Sarah, I am so sorry to hear this - flooding this time of year in our area is pretty bad, too. I hope that you do not go through this sort of trouble any more. I will be praying for you.

Sarah.....pyjama parties are suppose to be fun, not yucky!! I feel for you, my friend, we have been flooded before.....our one car had 2 feet of water in it and our basement was like a wading pool.... Mother Nature can be cruel at times and I hope that you are able to get things under control very soon as it is a horrible situation to be in at the time! Best of luck, honey, wish I was there to help!! Vicki

Do you have one of those floor fans to run on the areas that got wet to keept the air moving around it? That's what we did and it sure helped......

Oh dear. I'm so sorry to hear about your flood. I could use some of that rain if you want to send it my way. I pray everything will work out okay for you. Hugs *4U

Thinking of you guys in Knysa, bitterly cold in Gauteng - temp was 6 degrees at 14h00 in Roodepoort.

Sorry you got flooded, hopefully you now have it under control and won't get more inside if it keeps on.

So sorry you are having to deal with such a mess. Will hope your ground can absorb all that water before you get another round of rain.
