We had 4 hurricanes back to back within a 6 week period, and we lost close to 40 beautiful oak trees. That was some time ago, and I hope we do not have a summer of storms this year. But, this is a beautiful bloom, and smells so good.

Here's the pic - the blooms don't last long with this heat we are having, and I am glad he brought this one to me.

Stunning!
What an incredible blossom! We don't have any magnolias here, If knew how to digitize flowers, this would be the perfect one. I love the shiny leaves too!
How beautiful and such a thoughtful husband..
what a beautiful bloom
What a beautiful bloom! It would be perfect for digitizing as someone mentioned. Becky
Thank you asll - any of you digitizers want to give it a try. My DH just told me that that would make a beautiful quilt. What do you think? He even told me colors that he would like to see it in.
Lovely blossom and lovely thought!!! Go for it! Hugs, Judy
That is beautiful! My daughter had one just like it for her senior prom in 2000.

What a lovely magnolia blossom. Where in Florida are you? I am just outside of Orlando and those hurricanes certainly did alot of damage. Hope we never have 4 back to back again.

I am north of Orlando just between Deltona and Osteen

That is a beauty. I did a magnolia cross stitch(by hand)picture for my mom. Just looked up at it to remember it was my mom's favorite flower. I would probably put it in the refrigerator at night so you can enjoy it again tomorrow.

A beautiful bloom. I also have several little magnolia trees brought by Ivan after we lost over 75 big longleaf pine trees.

What a beautiful bloom, especially since it sprang from disaster. And your husband is a "keeper" too, having brought it to you. Hugs and *'s

That is really a beautiful bloom. Not a blemish on it or the leaves. They smell heavenly, too, don't they!

Its a shame the blossoms don't last very long as they smell so sweet and are beautiful to look at. It's usually raining here (AR)when ours blooms and they brown immediately, but we're in the dry this year so my tree is gorgeous.

I can smell it from here. I love the smell of magnolia blossoms. Better than the smell of roses to me. What a wonderful, thoughtful husband.

Beaultiful Dlonna, I have a monstrous magnolia tree in my front yard. It has been blooming since first week in May. I love going out early in the morning when the lemony smell permeates the air./ Lillian
