question why this cannot be addressed. Is there a site manager or someone who can be contacted to help with this most frustrating situation...it doesn't seem to matter what time of the day I log on...getting continuing Gateway Timeouts is beginning to wear on me...can anyone advise why this continues to be a problem? I can't be the only Cutie who continues to have this problem...anyone have any suggestions...other than try to log on at another time of the day, which I have tried over and over again?

Welcome ~ I see that you are fairly new to this site. Here is a link from a past discussion on the gateway timing out. It seems to be an ongoing problem and happens more on the weekends when more cuties are on.

Anita, I find that strange. I never have any trouble at the weekends but during the week the "timeout" really gets me down.
It just might be the same time of day you are generally on with a lot of others. I usually wait and come back later to the site if it is busy.

Some times of day do seem to be better than others, we all share your frustration! I know that Veronika is trying very hard to improve the smooth running of the site. Bear with it - it is worth it!

It depends on the time of day, the day of the week and even the weather it seems. I was timed out just a few minutes ago and now am getting on just fine. This site is worth having to try again later on! Its a wonderful site. Thanks Ms. Veronika for all her cute sites!!!!

This is what happens when a site is so popular. I usually have no problem logging on in the evening. It has to be also exspensive. I don't know anything about websites but I suppose that the cost increases with volumne. Based on all the requests for votes for missed fonts I wonder if it is a money issue. After all this site isn't were you collect your free letter and leave. You get help, share your thoughts and all kinds of other activities FREE.

I'll keep trying...as I said, I love the site and the community...and I don't just log on the the daily freebies...I encourage anyone who is not already a member to become one if they can. The time-outs I experienced yesterday when I made my post were excessive...I am hoping that the site manager might be able to increase their bandwidth to help with the sites ever increased popularity...
