Good day, no question today just a statement that I have an addiction!! I am addicted to downloading embroidery designs. I will never in my entire life manage to use all of them!! But what fun!!

I think you are so right! I too am addicted to both Cute & Emblibrary! Won't ever live long enough to stitch all the designs I have, but it sure is a lot of FUN to Collect all these beauties!..:-)

I consider them a collection. They are in the computer and don't take up any floor space and they don't have to be dusted. lol After a while you know what to keep and to delete some that you know you will never use. Just don't' forget to do a backup of your designs.

They are a great collection and they make me really happy I havent figured out how to backup yet, I have a new system and it really confuses me. Am going to spend the weekend trying :)

Thanks Marg, at our addiction is (will be someday) constructive, fun and the only damage I do is forgetting to cook and clean!!! LOL

I think it has something to due with FREE.... gets us every time. Hey if it's your only addiction, which if you sew then, opps that opens a whole sewing basket of trouble.

It definitely has something to do with free!!! It is not my only addiction though, I am addicted to quilting and card making too, so I have a whole sewing room full of addictions. At least I can incorporate the machine embroidery into all the other addictions LOL

Same thoughts go through my mind when a new Alphabet comes out - how many hundreds of Alphabets do you need Glenda ??? When will you ever use them all ??? Never seem to get an answer so just keep DLing them...LOL - have a great weekend *4U x0x0x

Relax and enjoy the addiction! Lots of people have collecting hobbies. Most of your designs will be freebies and you'll be buying lots too. It's okay! Just having them makes us feel good. Whenever I need a particular design I can just go to my files and find exactly what I need! Just remember to keep your files up to date and to back up! My name is Jan, and I am addicted too!

The embroidery designs are like a great museum of art. I walk through all the folders, etc and feel I am viewing masterpieces of all the digitizers. Even if I only embroidery a fraction of a fraction of them, they bring a smile to my heart as I browse. Thank you to all the talented and generous people on this site and others.

Wow you are so right. Before I got my machine, when I was down I went to a flower nursery and that made me happy, now I dont have to leave my house (if I dont want to) I can 'play' to my hearts content

I tell folks I collect designs. What better to collect...no storage problem AND no dusting!! Hubby has finally come to grips with that! He just grins.

When I first got my machine all I did was d/l and now that I finally got most things figured out I am using a lot and now am trying to do emb. on diff. things.<br />Yes, it is fun and addictive. If I never use all of them it gives me great pleasure to look at them and know I CAN do this!

Yes you are like the rest of us, but then the addiction will take a bit of turn and you will become much more choosy. Also you will learn to recognize good dititizing and leave the others.

I agree, Digitizing is addictive too! Everywhere around me I see things I could digitize! Sometimes I wake up at night with an idea and have to get up and get it started! Cute design!

Thank you!! I am so happy to be here! My hubby is trying to coax me off the computer and away from my embroidery, with very little luck. Hee hee!! I will never use all my designs and have no idea who will inherit all of this treasure, but who cares, I am having LOTS of fun!! Now I need to learn how to upload photos of the things I am making :)
