My SIL is having a Birthday on the 3 rd July so I made this "Memory Quilt" for her. Photos from when she was a baby till just recent. AND of course her children and Grand-children. This is the 2 nd Memory Quilt I've made. I wanted it to be smaller BUT the photos just seemed to Jump out of the Computer and land on the table when mt back was turned. Then when I had nearly finished I remembered that I hadn't got any of her Parents. SOOOoo that's why it's a bit bigger.. Hope you like

Excellent they look great. Can you print the names of the people on the pictures in the corner so every one would know who they are? just asking.

great idea
Not now I can't . But seeing as it's for my sister in law and her family. her friends know who they are as they have seen them for themselves. Like Late husband ( my brother) her 3 children- different stages in their life and now the 2 Grand children.. Also her parents and Elaine herslef at different stages in her life as well

thank you so much. I just realised the other day I had made something similar for her 50 th But it was in Photostitch and done like a family tree framed and all. Hope I can put it down to the beginning of "Oldtimers"

Hi Ros,
I love your quilt and it's a great way of storing the family history. If more children come along you can always use the back!
I've just done one for my Dad (he died on Father's Day last year). I've only put one picture of him on it and have embroidered all his favourite things too. I am now in the middle of putting all the family names on it eg. Mum, me, my sister, and then all the grandchildren etc. I've also put on his funny sayings and names of songs he liked etc. Can't wait to finish it.
Love Chris

Good on you Chris. I had made one originally for my eldest daughter commemorating the life of her dear son. She takes it to bed with her for consolation .

A nice gift to preserve her memories. I would probably hang it or frame it. Too nice to use.

It's to hang. Hope it's not too big for her wall as she hasn't got a lot of free space being a small unit.
