It's going to be 64.4F (18C we have metric here in Australia) in Newcastle today - but we are in Winter!

Daisy darling, I don't want to start a political debate (well maybe I do) but that is because Global warming does not exist. Well at least it has nothing to do with man made carbon emissions.

Oh my! I don't like the heat, however, that being said,we could use a little bit here. It doesn't want to get above 18 centigrade at best (approximately 65 F.) and rain,rain, rain....

I know what you are going thru,I live in Texas also. I am just glad that I have a air conditioner in my sewing room where I spend so much of my time. Stay cool.

We are looking at a 4 degree Celsius tonight in Brisbane, BRRRRR that is cold for us. remember we don't get snow, EVER, and we are subtropics, So I am off to get under my big feather doona/duvet/quilt and snuggle down for the night. brrrr.....it is cold.

Heard about your high temperatures on the news, Bev, and realized that our 'heat wave' in Virginia, was nothing compared to yours. Please take all precautions and stay cool, checking on your relatives and neighbors.

Aw Bev-you can have it-it is 8:55am here right now is Northeastern NY state- 60 degrees, beautiful blue skies and just glorious-supposed to be in the mid to high 70's today-low humidity...this is perfect-I wouldn't complain one bit if it stayed like this all summer long......YUH, like that's going to happen LOL ~linda~

Yahoo. It hit 75 here in NE Indiana. 81 today with storms through Wednesday, then just rain Thursday. Ain't it grand! NOT!!!!!!!
