Guess what my miracle for today has been.
I finished stitching in lines the blocks for a Christmas quilt I began in 1994 - it's been packed away for 17 years. Now on Wednesday I will sew the lines together and then attach the borders and I'll have a quilt top done and it will be in time for Christmas, too.
But..... the real miracle was a little tree down the paddock that is still in its full autumn glory of brilliant gold and it shone out like a beacon though the grey rain of our cold, wintery day. That little tree lifted my spirit and gave me all the encouragement I needed to keep on going with the day's work.
