My first inclination was, "Oh no! What did I do wrong?!"

Is there a page that defines the community's nuances?

Just wondering.

The little flowers are just for fun. You give flowers and get flowers. The more you participate the faster your garden grows. If your flower beside the number of flowers, 118, that you have collected turned orange, I have no idea why. The flowers on the right side of the page turn from green to orange in some areas and from orange to grey in other areas when you click on them. That means you have given a flower. It's also a good way to mark the projects or questions you have looked at, commented on or read. I hope I've helped some.

Hi Starlizard,

Have a look to the left and you will see Tutorial right down the bottom in the general group. I have given you a link to it. Just read all the great things that have been written.

The flowers as Ramona says are just for fun. People will click on the post to give one for your comment. They soon grow. Have a look at all the tabs there are many on here.

If you want to see Designs by Cuties they are all free - last tab at top of page. Check out all the DESIGNS, REDWORK, ALPHABETS, LACE, APPLIQUE, CROSS-STITCH tabs. You can click on COMMUNITY, REVIEWS, PROJECTS, BOOKMARKS etc. and of course all the blue ones to your left.

I hope you have many hours of fund checking out this wonderful site. I just love it.

I can't emphasise enough to check out the TUTORIAL one as there are lot of questions answered there for general information.

Love and blessings and welcome from me Chris, Newcastle, Australia

Oh my goodness! Thank you for responding. Now I don't feel like a total wash... LOL!

I've wandered around in the halls of the Cuties, but sort felt like I was missing something. So, I just wasn't wandering far enough along. The voting thing seemed a bit awkward at first, but I got the hang of it after I thought about it.

Chris, I love the 'newbie' cartoon. I've surfed the 'Net for nearly 16 years now, and have seen some pretty profound cartoons, but that one tickled my funny bone the most.

Thank you all for responding so quickly.
Now I'm going to check out that tutorial page.

Hugs!
Liz

That was one of my first question too when I first joined Cute. Never be afraid to ask. There will be usually someone, that will answer.
