I love it i would pick a bright color or 2 for the borders .I would choose the darkest mark or cut it 1 and 1/2 inches wide this is the window or frame then i would cut a 3 inch piece of the yellow lol thats just what i would do .Can't wait to see it done .Are you putting a sleeve on the back for hanging or jut the corner pieces ??hugs carolyn

Very nice. I wouldn't want anything to distract from the pattern and would probable choose white since it is the background.

Wonderful!!! That's a lot of piecing. I think I would use a border before binding. I agree one of you dark colors would work well- the purple or burgandy. If you have something of various colors place them on the four sides around the edge. That way you can compare and see what they look like. Be sure to stand back a bit as it will look different to you than up close. Good luck in your decision.

How about a border of the dark purple about 3 inches wide and then binding of the light purple. Did you have to stitch then directly on to the batting? The only directions I've seen do that....

Its beautiful! I was going to say just pick any one of the colors and go with it... I'm not sure about black, but the white might get lost. What about a more golden version of the yellow?

It's neat to see all the different answers you get. I would do 2 borders. I don't know how it is going to be quilted but I think it would need borders for stability of the outside edges. Unless you do a stay stitch all the way around. How about a small dark border then a small yellow border and finish with a dark border. Like this one.

I love the bargello quilts but haven't done one myself.

Beautiful, I love bargello. I have made 2, but not this particular pattern yet. I would try a narrow gold border (1 1/2") and then a 3 - 4" dark border, perhaps your blue or maroon, and bind in the same dark colour.

Love your Choice of colours. My bargello is still in the quilting stage. Been there for 2 years now and I think this week will see the end of it yahoo

definately a dark colour for the sashing Love the burgundy and maybe the binding in the same colour. Did you think of a small border about 1-2" in maybe white and then the dark colour. Love to see the finished hanger.. Ros

WOW very nice job. You can choose any color in the mix for a border. The blue the yellow the burgandy. It would all stand out so nice. With a color it makes your eye travel along that color and takes you into the rich color roads in the quilt. An artists point of view. Make sure you post it when done. Suzanne
