Once again I have made a biscornu. Received a journal on Thursday and a drawing appeared in the Journal for children to colour. Thought it would stitch into a nice biscornu. I asked the people concerned and with their OK I asked a special person to digitise it for me. Stitched it out and completed it today. I am sending this biscornu to the lady who did the original drawing. Hope you like it

The design fills all the corners just right. This is a very thoughtful gesture to give it to the designer.

Very lovely Lyn - how delightful that you will be sending this off to the art designer and that you had such great help in getting this digitized by our dear friends help. Love it.

will this design be made available to us - as well?
by mi30kaja 28 Jun 2011
Shirlene, I am not sure. It is up to the dear person who kindly did the digitising for me. I have had permission from the Lady who did the original.

Hi mi30kaja, Did you know that one of the State crafts at South Australian Country Women's Association (CWA) for this year is a biscornu. Hand done of course!

No I did not know about the CWA and the Biscornu. I always wanted to join the CWA but have always been too busy to do so. Would love to see them when thay are all finished. I have many pattern for Cross stitch Biscornu, but am too impatient and would rather do them with my machine.

Just to add to this. I actually went out and picked a Fuchsia and the colours I used are a perfect match for that fuchsia, but you can use whatever colours you wish.
