Met a lady yesterday in St. Augustine, Fl in a quilt shop (of course) she asked me if I wanted her old books and stacks of fabric! Told her yes and looks like I have a new friend to boot.

Well, my cat sent the other message. She sat on the durn burn keypad again! I was just going to ditto was Jrob said. Wish you were closer, Bikermom, I have 6 cats & a Harley Sportster 883. Bike's gonna have to go, because I'm too disabled to ride any more & I need the $ since DH passed away. Maybe I should hang around more quilt shops, hee hee hee. Invite your new friend over to quilt with you! Marji

No wonder we're so alike my birthday is 6-22-48! I've had a stroke and 2 back surgeries and still manage to throw my leg over my chopper. I also have a sportster 883, 1999. Put on a solo seat and forward controls - eases the back - and off I go.

Oh, my gosh, 6 days apart!!! And my Sporty is a 99 also, shiny black!! I don't believe it!! I do admire your spirit, still 'scoot'in, I would be too but my hands are the problem. Can't clutch any more, and my balance is a bit shaky. I'm dangerous on the road now. For me, hey, what better way to go -- I'm just scared I'd hurt someone else! However, I'm just now talking myself into seeing if I could get a clutch that's easier to work. I could stick to the back roads & just hit cows. Did you ever hear of a yahoo group called Catsnquilts? I belong, we all love, well, cats & quilts! Great group. Love to you, 'sis'! Marji
