A Mandala in Free hand embroidering. Made on watersoluble materiale, that is washed away.

Thank you, and flowers for you too. When you are making free style lace, you have too have to have a firm and stable web underneath. And then you can make whatever you want. It takes a lot of time, but it is fun.

I love mandala's andyou can get some nice designs from them but i love this as it is freehand. also if you brows for free mandala's there is a lot of good sites and they should digitize well. you have opend a new door for my crafts thanks i wish i could give you 100's of flowers as mind is ticking now i won't sleep tonight if i do i will be designing in my sleep... thanks

Thank you and a flower for you too. This one is made as a drawing on paper first, as an "impression" from a beautiful piece of music. After that transferred to the lace-work. I just had the drawing beside me, I chose not to draw it on the watersoluble material before sewing. I love the feeling of drawing with my machine.

Yes it is free machine embroidery. After making the basic web on the watersoluble plast, I have handsewn some of the circles with a very thick yarn. After that free machine embroidery to fill.
