My grandsons best friend just recently got married. My grandson was his best man at the wedding. The newly weds went to the Bahamas on their honeymoon where on the last day they went para sailing and something went terribly wrong. The latch broke and they fell 200 feet in the water. The wife died and Victor the husband is recuperating in the hospital. It will take weeks for him to heal physically. I am asking for prayers for this young man not only for his physical but also his emotional health.

Also my granddaughter recently married and traveled to Texas with her new husband who is in the military. They thought they would have a year together before he leaves with his unit but they just found out that he will be going to Iraq in 3 weeks. His name is Joe. They hadn't even unpacked their belongings.

My only granddaughter's Mother arrived in Iraq last Thursday
She made contact with her family Sunday night by her cell phone. She is with an Army Nat'l Guard unit from Mobile Al.
It is a Black Hawk group. Please add her to your prayer list. We all want to bring them Home Safe! Maureen

oh dear this is such a sad story. of coarse the young man and the family need all our prayers.hope in time he can accept this terrible tragedy.

Yes Shirlene she decided to come back home. She hasn't had enough time to meet or make friends. Her job at home is save. They told her she can come back which means some prayers are being answered.

What sad news. I will be praying for all of them. Poor Victor. He will need a lot of prayers.

Oh Angie I have been so selfish, since my DH death all i think is Why? now as a read your post I feel so sorry for your grandson's best friend, what a terrible thing to happen! Hope he recuperates and find peace may God help him. I will pray for your granddauther and her husband, to keep him safe God bless you all.

Do not worry. You are not selfish. We will never understand the why and just have to trust God that he knows best. It is difficult I know.
