call your dealer or the place you got your machine and they should be able to help would your software problem.

I am sure you have already tried this, but maybe not! Turn everything off, unplug your dongle (HASP) and then turn the computer back on. Wait....when the programs are all up and running, try to open 3D WITHOUT the dongle. When it ask for it, then plug it back in and it should read. Good luck, Linda

I've had so many problems since Windows 7 but I soldier on!!! I've got Bernina software and had the sae problem. I downloaded a dongle driver at the Bernina website for Windows 7 before installing the Bernina Editor Lite and it really helped. Maybe Husqvarna has the same thing. Check out their website. I hope something helps because I know how frustrating that is!! :-)

I have 4D and have had the same problelm. Try what Linda recommended, that has worked for me.You might try sending a querry to www.husqvarnaviking.com. I have found them to be very responsive.

There's a patch for your dongle for use with Vista, I don't know whether this works for Win7 as well. You might try it.

I know what you are going through - I had all sorts of trouble with my programme as we had bought a new computer.

You have to make sure you have all the updates in order. If you go into the 3D Configure you should be able to check this all out.

For example I now have on mine (I have the 4D programme) 4D Embroidery Documentation Patch 82, 4D Embroidery Driver 82_XP_32Vista, 4D Embroidery Patch8-3, Patch 8-31, Patch 821A, Patch 821B and HASP Driver.

I actually took my machine into my dealer and got one of the ladies from Husqvarna to check it out and becausse I didn't have the updates I couldn't usse it. They are the best people to help you out with it. Good Luck, love Chris

Hope you got it working by now. I had to download all of the updates in order for it to work. There is a special Update for Windows 7.
