Well I had finished this all up (cut @ home) @ 3 hr class today, but when I got home I didn't like the sashing that I originally had sew I changed it to the burgundy (skinny pc)Do you think that this looks CHRISTMASEY? (IS THAT A WORD?) If I quilt it with Christmas designs & verigated Christmas colored thread? Should I add another border in Christmas fabric, but then will it be to big? Thanks for your suggestions in advance! Hugs Loralye

I love the way it is. I love burgandy.I thin a christmas fabic would detract from what you allready have.

It looks good the way it is with the fabric you choose. Anything extra that is added will depend on how you want to use the finished project.

This looks lovley. If you make it look more christmasey you won't be able to use it as much so just bind it in more burgundy & use it all year round.

I agree with the others - I like it as it is and I would do a burgandy binding. The colors would work for christmas even if the print is not christmas.

Nope leave it like it is .I love a narrow frame as it makes it look like a picture frame .Youv,e done an excellent job ,I would put your c/mas fabric on the back and the binding so it will all go together!!carolyn

Looks great I think the dark red you have used would make a nice frame but only a thin one love the all over design and the colors you have used.

Yes Loralye Burgundy has it. Quilt it in Clear thread .DON'T do the multi thread bit . Clear thread shows up all the colours without changing the thread. Well done.

WELL THANK YOU ALL SEW VERY MUCH! It seams Burgundy binding is unanimous, sew burgundy it is! Thanksfor the clear thread tip I wouldn't have done mono-filiment, not sure if I will. But it's a thought, I was going in another direction with quilted designs in the triangles & then something in the border! will have to think some more on this! Thanks again!********4 all!
