Has anyone washed them to find out how they hold up after several washings? I would like to make a few to put on my tables at the next show, but I'm just wondering how the net will hold up.

Thanks
Mary Ann

Dish cloths are available at the supermarket - one side "net" one side cotton or microfibre. Used everyday - no problem but the net is a lot thicker than the "tulle" type net you buy for dressmaking!

Have you made any of these?

I know about the ones in the store I have several of them, but I think the tulle that everyone is using is different and wondering how it holds up after washing and drying in the hot dryer several times.

WOW. only one post...I would think someone would have tried to wash them to see how they would hold up to the heat of the washer and dryer.

I haven't made any to see how they wash, but here's a mesh fabric that I've seen used for the store bought dish scrubbers. It's more expensive than the Net but I know it stands up well and you still should be able to get quite a few face clothes from 28 pieces that Smart Needle sells. I've purchased this mesh for the coin purse pattern they sell and know the mesh is a nice quality.
