I bought one because my machine isn't winding bobbins correctly. I've been happy with it as another option to wind bobbins. It works best with "normal" thread spool sizes; I was winding from an oversized spool last week and had to improvise since the spool holder was not tall enough. The Bobbin Winder isn't very substantial in size and weight. It actually feels sort of flimsy, but it gets the job done!

Love it. I also have one for winding spools and love that too.
