If it is not raining it is drizzling. Can't get outside to garden either.

Need something exciting to happen in my life.

Lyn, I am so sorry - you know today we had 90 degree weather then we had a thunderboomer come in and the temp went down to 68 and now it is hours and hours later and it is 72 degrees - not bad for how hot it might have been without the storm - we haven't had regular weather at all this year - feels so strange. I hope you found something to excite you. Hehehe!

Hi Lyn,

Glad to see SA getting some good soaking rain though. I lived there for all of my childhood and I never knew a cold winter. I think the weather this year what with the la Nina is very wet.

We have had 15 here today in Newcastle, very sunny and cold westerly winds. Not much better for the rest of the week. I'm thankful for sunny cool days though, but I do love the rain too. I always want to sew in colder weather, we're all different aren't we?

I do hope it eases up a bit for you though, so you can at least get some gardening done.

At least you get longer days down south - it's dark here much quicker, but now that the shortest day has gone the days are getting longer. The sun sets today at 5.01pm just now! Love Chris

I have had 135mm since last Monday and Fuess What - it is raining again. Not heavy but just a nuisance.

It is summer here and it has been a cooler one. We have had very few days in the '70's F., but it has stayed mostly in the 60's. Today for example we had a high of 69F (20.55C)

According to 2 different websites, our low tonight will be either 47F (2.77C) degrees or 49F (3.88C). Compared to the 90's and over 100 degrees F. that they are having in other states... this isn't too bad. If it just stayed sunny longer.

Think I would be better if only the sun would poke through the clouds occassionally. Think the sun makes you feel better even if it isn't warm.

Yes I know the feeling - just to cold to do anything. But this year we decided forget about the utility bill just switch on the underfloor heating and the difference is amazing. Kind of heat now pay later hehehe.

Well on the other side of the world we seem to be having rain, rain and more rain with the odd sunny day. Happy sewing when you are able or feel inclined to

Sounds as though you are having the same weather as we are here in Adelaide.

Lyn, it's hot and humid here in Arkansas. Several bad thunderstorms with lots of rain. I do what I have to in the am and then work on Christmas projects in the afternoon. The humidity just wears me down. To think, I'm looking forward to Winter! Hang in there! Carol

Carol, I was born in Far Nth Queensland and that is very tropical. Don't know how I would ever cope with the humidity now.

Thank You Cathy for the bad news. We for some reason don't always get the Weather from Perth anymore. Love Perth and your Banksias, but it is so sandy.

Seems the weather has been turned upside down no matter where we live...although our July here in Quebec Canada seems to be about normal. The last two weeks of July generally are real hot and humid, time will tell...Hope you get some nicer days soon...*4U & Hugs x0x0x0

To bad I can't bag this heat and send it to you, lol! I like it warm but not so hot and muggy. Oh course I prefer it to the cold by far! :)
Sending you sunshine and warmer weather in thoughts at least!!

Suppose I shouldn't complain. Here in South Aust it is a very dry heat so we don't get the humidity.

We have had rain almost every day for the past couple months. Will be looking forward to some cool crisp air. I seem to be more energized when it is cooler out but we still have a few more months of summer even up here in the mountains.
