and 2nd LT in training. He has been chosen to go to the Citadel this summer and is so excited. My oldest grandson, who is in the Air Force was also promoted, and put into the "Rope" training, which is a leadership roll. Can't tell that I am proud of them, can you.

I know how you feel dionna. We grandmas have a right to be proud. That's quite an honor especially going to citadel. My youngest G.son was in ROTC all through H.S. & will grad from Auburn next mo. with degree in Aerospace Engineering. You wave a banner for your G son & tell him how proud he makes u.

Thank you so much. The youngest told his mom he would go into the services tomorrow if they would take him. He has been 100% for military since he was quite young - after he decided that he no longer wanted to be the ice cream man. LOL
