At last an ITH project for a 4x4 hoop. My first attempt. It is a bit 'furry' round the edges due to the material fraying so badly. Sorry the pic is a bit blurred.

Nice job. I found that putting a lightweight fusible interface on the back of the fabric for applique things (and an ITH really is an applique thing) really helps keep it from fraying. For clothing they say you can cut the interface before fusing and take out the middle part (just leaving some on the outside edges). Have not done a design that way yet but I plan to try it out.

Thank you. It was suggested in the design to hoop washaway but I used tearaway and I think that is why it is a bit fluffy around the edges.
Yes, tearaway can leave those edges too. I have used washaway on projects like this too.
