this one was a gift from my girlfriend. she crocheted this to keep my head warm as it is always cold now? I think that I will crochet a flower & add it to the front! What do you think?

it is kind of dark? maybe a bright cheerful yellow flower will brighten it up? Maybe the same yellow as the small row near the top

She did great - this was the style of hat I have been thinking of - could you sew one or two up and not crochet them - then the fabric could be cooler and with an elastic in a gathered tube. I like the idea of a crochet flower, too.
