If you posted to the States it takes about that long for us to get mail to you down under, so probably takes as long to come back up this way. Sure hope you hear soon.
Most of my purchases from the States only take between 10 & 12 days to arrive here and I buy so much I swear I'm keeping the US economy afloat. LOL!!!!

Have you got a receipt from the post office with the items postcode on it? This is proof of posting the item & you can claim up to $50 for a lost item without having to register the item.Last month I got something from the USA & it arrived in 6 days by ordinary mail- a record for me until then 8 days was the best.The worst was 6 weeks for a large letter that was to go to a Parks PO Box but spent over 4 weeks having a winter holiday in post office near Ballina.

The value of the SS gift is to the recipient not the sender! Meganne is eager to know that her Santee has received the gift.
I phoned the PO today and they said because I didn't register it there is no guarantee it will arrive and of course there is no return address on it because it is supposed to be secret.
I can't say where it was sent to as it would be a sure giveaway but they also told me it should have arrived within ten days. I am concerned it hasn't arrived. :-(

I spent the extra and had a tracket put on mine, so I know that my SS recipient has received it. I did ot put the address on it either, but at least on this one, I know that they received it. Do they have something like that down ther?
No, only with registered post, but I was always led to believe that "Registered post" was only available for parcels INSIDE Australia.

Well - that stinks, doesn't it? I can't remember how we did the pkgs to DH when he was overseas - But, I know one of them took about 3 or 4 months to get to him becauses it got side tracked all over Europe.

There are quite a few gifts still in the pipeline! Several might be late due to some very serious health problems but they are on their way. However, there are also a few Santas and Santees I have been unable to contact.

This is wonderful. Late or not - this is a great event for all of us. So sorry to hear that we have some with health issues - we will be praying for a good and steady recovery for them.
I must also send Kudos to Sue. What a big, well-executed, job. I'm one of the sickies and appreciated hearing from you Sue. My gift just went with the Hub to the Post Office. Better late than never I hope!
