I am fairly new to Embrodery, How Hard is the Wilcom Program, To change size of designs? Has anyone tried it. Right now I barely know what I'm doing. Is it simple? Or is there another Freesimpler

If all you want to do is change sizes and convert formats, it's very simple to learn and use.

Hi "Ceramickids", as "Faerynutt" has mentioned it is a very easy programme to use. There are lots of them on the internet. I'm sure someone else will come along with others for you. Love and blessings Chris
P.S. By the way welcome to this wonderful website - any question you have no matter how insignificant you may think it is, ask, as there maybe someone else who needs to know the answer to that question too.

When I was trying to fathom Wilcom out I found the tutorial at Cindys the easiest to follow. Near the bottom of her site.

Thank you for this Marg, although I see it is only for changing formats. Wish it would also give instructions for the other things that one can do with Wilcom.
Thanks for the Cindy site I will check out the tutorial. Thanks Again
thanks

Welcome to Cute. I have the Wilcom and I mainly use it for rotating and mirroring designs. It is also great for changing formats. I find that resizing works fairly well but you need to be careful and not resize too much. I think rule of thumb is between 10-20% otherwise the density of stitch becomes a problem. I taught myself how to use it as it is pretty straight forward. Just a matter of trial and error. Good luck and enjoy the Cute site. Sarah.
