Here are a couple of fancy pot holders that I just finished.. these designs are from Needlework.ru and they stitched out so nice... wow... I was impressed .. I have lots of their designs but this is the first time I have used them.. the detail is wonderful.. the size is 7 x 7 finished.. I used metallic binding to give them a little bling..

this whole picture is stitched, but I wasn't really thinking when I added the binding, since it is poly.. it may melt if it comes in contact with anything to hot.. oh well, they are pretty..

They are like a tapestry design. Very pretty. Don't worry about the binding my cotton trimmed pot holder came in contact with a burner and it's now burnt brown so anything in contact with a burner or heating element can burn or melt. Depends on how careful you are. Microwave use should be safe.

beautiful designs, stitched out beautiful. is this a pattern? seems the last few i've seen look the same shape. how did you put the holder on?
