I thought my machines looked rather dull in their plastic covers, so I put my brain into action and made these. Hope you like them. The designs were given to me, along with others, by my friends husband after she passed on from cancer so I don't know where they originated from. But every time I look at the covers I remember my friend.

Will you be giving us the how-to for making the covers, I'm sure that a lot of us would like to get rid of those plastic covers too. The designs are so perfect for the project.

It's very easy. I just carefully cut the plastic cover on the seam and used the pieces as a template. First I made one from an old sheet, tweeked it a bit and then - fingers crossed - went for it!

Lovely and the piping is so accurat, how do you do that?

Thank you. I pinned the piping on the main piece first then re-pinned while I added the side pieces.
Easy if you take your time. *
