Made this for my granddaughter who is arriving from the states on the 1st August for her sisters wedding and will be having a birthday while she is here in Aussie. The design came from astitchahalf and each panel is made in the hoop.

Love the floral design and the shape of the bag. What did you stitch it on? It looks to be standing up real well.

They can be stitched on most materials but I used a thick synthetic wadding maybe between half and three quarter inches (the thicker the better)in the centre and that acts as the stiffening for the bag once you have stitched your panels out. So when you make it in the hoop you end up with material, then the wadding in the centre and lastly your material that ends up as the lining on the bottom. Hope that explains it.

Just choosing the right materials makes all the difference in how you project turns out. Your bags are very nice. Thanks for telling what you used.

About 12" high by about 9" wide, it's sides are about 5" wide so makes for a nice size once it's all put together.
