Sometimes I have to walk away and then go back at it. Don't know if this will help, but it is what I have to do.

Write/email the company that you bought the design from. Maybe they have a tip for you or will make it right. I will only stitch one out 2-3 times before I quit. I will do it on different fabric and with different types/amounts of stabilizer. I wish you good luck. I HATE to pick designs out.

It all depends on how bad I want the item and if I can figure out another way of doing it. I have started some things and they have not worked out I just set them aside and pull out another day and try again, I guess I never really give up then just put away for a long time LOL

I agree with the others, leave it for a while and when you have more patience try again. Also good advice to contact the company you got the design from.

It helps me to go step by step if there are directions included. if i really like the design I'll try until I get it right but may not make it again. It depends on my frustration level I may walk away and come back later.

I've learned to stitch out the design on something that isn't important first to make sure that there are no quirks. I've learned that the hard way. Keep some scraps handy, and use them to test your design. If I really want it, I'll keep trying until I get it, or change my approach enough to make it work somehow.

Never give up. Walk away from it for a while. It's always been something I've overlooked or done wrong.

Usually when things don't go right for me, it's a sign I've got too many things going on in my head and not paying attention to what and how I'm doing something. I walk away from it, clear my brain, then when I go back everything just falls into place. Hugs...Carol

HMMMMM? Being a digitiser I expect "PURCHASED" designs to stitch properly, the first time.

I have never unpicked a design and never will. If it doesn't stitch out properly and I KNOW for sure it is the design, the stitch out and the design will both go in the trash (unless it is something I can fix by editing the design itself.) It all depends how badly I want to use the design.

If there is some other cause then I would try and figure out what it is I need to correct to get the design to stitch out the way it should.

So my first question would be: exactly HOW is the design going wrong???

Twice, once is my error, if it goes wrong again, pitch it, delete it and move on.

Depends on how bad I want the design. I ALWAYS test stitch everything I do - even from reputable digitizers. I try to do the test stitch with the same (or at least similar) fabric and stabilizer, etc. that I will use for the final stitch-out - that way I know if I have the combination right or not. I have test stitched and it was not quite right, then tested again with a different combination - and for one thing I REALLY wanted I did one more test - and still ended up not using the design (I am pretty sure it was the design not the combination). Other times I have been successful with a different combination and been able to use the design. Good luck on your current "challenge".

Twice the first day, once another day then pitch it and find something else to do. If for sure it isn't you or your machine then contact the seller.

Well I would say I never give up.
If it does not stitch correctly the first time I will check it out in my digitising program and in need, fix it and redo it again. (Or Maybe it was something that I did incorrectly.)
If I've tried it out it means that I want it.
So I will not give up.
