You need to open the file and then click on "select all". That will give you a marquee (posh computerspeak for box with dots in the corners.) Drag the box to the size you want and resave. (Don't overdo the resizing - it can cause problems.)

I have never been able to find that with the free software. Is that only with the paid software?

I use PE Designs for resizing my pes designs.

Thank you sweetheart for the info, I am going to try right now. It's pitch black night here, I cant sleep and the computer is calling me!!

Sue, I just click on the design itself to get the "dots" in the corners and go from there. Never tried the select all. I will give that a go!!!

Ctrl (Control) A, is usually the shortcut to "select all" in most programs.
So easy instead of hunting for the command or Icon. :-))))))

I don't think you are being stupid. I downloaded several programs, hoping to be able to do my own thing. I never got off the ground. I gave up and deleted them. The timing for me wasn't the best, as I had one major disaster after another at the time, but I know it wasn't easy. I may try again later, but no matter...NO YOU ARE NOT STUPID!!!!

Thank you for the vote of confidence, I have also downloaded several programs & eventually deleted them These programs are definitely not easy which is why I am amazed at all the digitizers AND their kindness in donating 'freebies'

that's so people like us can have some nice designs that are also easy on the pocketbook - they all probably were in the same boat at one time!

I am quite sure you are & I are not stupid! I have been dragged into the computer age because of my embroidery machine and am going to have to leave my 'retired' comfort zone & LEARN! I am determined to get it right even if it takes me forever, although I might be insane by the end Ha, ha
