Last week my sound wasn't working so I shut the computer off and restarted. Everything was working after the restart. Would try that first. If that don't work I would try to restore my computer to a past backup/restore point. Usually a day or two back when everything was working like it should.

Is this issue on your e-mail account with msn? I use hotmail most of the time with them.
Sent you a PM with further information.

Hi look on the bottom left. If you see a litte speaker down there. If it has a red X click on it and turn it back on. THe speaker got accidently turned off. It happens some times. Hope it works. Suzanne

i see no speaker??
If you click on the button that is at the left on the bottom it should bring up a menu bar. Click on control panel. Look for the 'sound' button and click that open and see if the sound has been turned off. Otherwise I cant help
