dionna The Iris is beautiful. I have a few blooming now too. Sounds like u were a daddy's girl. I was also & really miss him. My dad loved flowers & always had a lot of them. Fl. weather allowed him to have more than Ga. *4U

Not really a daddy's girl, came from a family of 6 - 3 older sidblings, and then me and the twins. We are several years younger than the older 3. Mother and Daddy thought I was getting spoiled, and then the twins came along.

Lucky you - I tried some down here, but the squirrels dug them up! Could not get them to grow. Florida sand not too good on them!

Looks like my Mom's favorite iris! They will be blooming in a month or so here in PA, USA. I still have them, on the land we've had for over 50 years. Good memories, thanks for sharing, Dlonna.

The iris is beautiful, they are in bloom now here in Soain (Europe) and it is the name of our granddaughter so an iris is very special to us.
