worrying will not take away tomorrows troubles, but it will take away today's peace.

I hope it helps you and your daughter, it was what my priest shared with me
in church today. I am Catholic, but very open minded and I believe that we can share so much with each other, regardless of faith creed or culture.

This is so true, Alice! Most of us worry about things we have no control over, when actually there is so little in life we do have control of! We dwell so much on what "may" happen tomorrow, we lose the "joy" of today! When worrying threatens my happiness, I conjure to mind all my many blessings and focus on those to uplift my spirit and give me peace!

That is because you truly are an angel.

Thanks for the compliment, Alice, but wish it were true! The Lord made me very compassionate with a BIG heart, and the strength to make it through MANY tough times! Maybe one day, I'll be one of HIS "angels"!

Oh How true. I hope this saying will come into my brain when and if the little voice of worry tries to visit.

This is so true. Worry solves nothing. I'm learning more and more to give them all to God.

That is precisely what we should do. Give it to God, but not before we share it with each other. I have seen so many miracles happen when people pray together.

You know, some things are so obvious, but yet we are so oblivious. Thank you for the wake-up call. I'm going to go write that on my message board on the fridge right now. Thank you!!!

This is a very fundamental way of looking at things Alice. Think it would make a nice 'embroidery' piece. [so long as it doesn't plagairize anyone]

This is so true, yet so hard to put into practice!
