What is the software that people with Bernina machines use to convert designs to the art format?

I believe it is "Artista" I think "Wilcom" and "Tajima" also work.

I can't find either of those to purchase, I phoned Bernina in Brisbane and they said that I needed bernina art design and they would have to order it for me.

I have a Bernina and I can use ART or PES if a design is in a different format, I also use Embird to convert to pes. Shirley

I'm not too clued up although I have a Bernina - but I bought Editor Plus V6 and can convert Pes, Hus, Sew, Csd to Art. It also allows you to auto digitise and has quite a lot of features. The next step up is Designer Plus V6.
Hope this helps?

Thank you. I have just had a look at that, I already have 2 digitizing programs. I guess I will think about getting the art design, that is only $200

I have Bernina Designer Plus V6 and use it to convert designs to ART or Bernina EXP for my Bernina machines. I cannot convert JEF or RAR files with it and have had to download other programmes to convert these to PES. If you visit Bernina USA website there may be more information

Thank you, I have looked at Bernina designer plus, but I already have 2 very expensive digitizing programs so I think that having 3 would be a bit silly just so that I can convert to the art format for the occasional customer that asks for it.

Pulse Ambassador by Tajima will convert to ART, and many other formats--it's a free download & easy to use. http://www.pulsemicro.com/ambassadordownload

Thank you, I have downloaded pulse ambassador but I cannot convert to ART files with it. Well at least I can't see how to.

I don't have a Bernina, but use their software to convert to many different formats and it's free. Really like it because it can even convert the newer pes format that Pulse cannot.

Well it looks like most Bernina machines can use exp files I can convert to exp so that may be the solution.

Hi,
I too have a bernina, and I use the Artista Designer Plus V6.

Long, long ago, I had a magic box, and used it to convert to .art. Then I could take the little card and insert it to my embroidery modules, and I could use the design.

I googled and found that this was discussed a sewforum...

I also use Bernina Artista Designer plus ver 6 as my software. I just don't know how to use all the functions and it's capabilities. You digitizers would love it. Just be sure if you buy it from anyone other than a dealer , that you get a dongle included as this is necessary to work the software and also that the dongle was not an upgrade as it will be useless.
