Prayers going up as I type. If it helps, I have a friend who went through this over 10 years ago and is doing well. Keep us informed.

I had a friend that had this done about two weeks ago and she is doing wonderful now - I will be praying for Bill.

Good news! Bill came thru the operation well, looks like he will be around for a while longer. Here's a copy of the e-mail I got. He'll have his laptop with him and be able to communicate when he's better, so that's great news. Thanks to all who said prayers for him, I truly appreciate it! Hugs, Marji

Bill came thru Open Heat Surgery with no complications. The next few days will be rough. They were hoping to take the breathing tube out tonight (Mon). Most of the pain right now is coming from the drain tubes in his side, the other ports for the I.V. drips and, of course, the breathing tube. They only had to replace the Aortic Valve. They did not have to replace the Mitral Valve. They also did the Aortic Ablation and bypass surgery. He wll be in I.C.U. for a few days and then be moved to a step down unit. I am not exactly sure how long he will be in the Hospital.

Wonderful praise! Will continue to pray until Bill goes home and starts bossing everyone around.;)
