I live in the bush literally, the nearest fabric store is an hour away, where do you get your threads? and which do you like the best? at a reasonable price, wish to order online, we just don't have the selection here. Thinking of Thread Art online what is your take on this site, or others that I have missed.
Thanks :)

I buy online from Metro Thread - however sometimes you have a hard time with the shipping prices overseas. Do you have a dealer for thread in your country - that you could buy from online? Have you done a search?

I also ordered from Metro embroidery Thread. The thread is beautiful and works great. Did not have a good ordering experience with another online company. I place an order; never got the thread or the money back. Did not know if it is ok to mention their name or not. If you send me a private message will tell you their name.
Buffy did you notify the credit company or Papal about this. They would have gotten you your money back?
Thanks!

I buy from Metro as well. I don't know about shipping to Canada. I would check them out. They are prompt and I had never had a bad experience.

My first ones were threadart and it works well in my machine. I just got the 166 colors from metro thread - the colors are awesome. Haven't tried them out yet - still organizing them and debating whether to mix them with the other ones or not. But a lot of cuties have gone with the metro thread and just love it - it is not expensive - $.67 a spool. Even with getting it to Canada it still only came to around a $1 a spool. I haven't found any here for under $6.99 a spool! Big difference.
Good luck in your choice.

Thanks! I can have stuff delivered to my sis in laws she lives in Omak which is about 1 hour away for us, we get lots of stuff sent to her, parts for the ranch machinery etc. Better deals in the US, We even get stuff made in Canada and shipped to the US at a better deal than getting here in Canada...lol!

SICK Embroidery sells & ships Embroidery thread to Canada for a pretty good price I believe. It looks like they are out at the moment you may want to email them to see when they will have them in again,

Hi Loosie,
I cannot give Metro Embroidery Thread a big enough rap.
With the help of Shirlene I bought the whole set. They are awesome colours and will hopefully last me a lifetime.
Robison Anton are the other threads I buy and I get them through TUBBY'S wife out at a shopping centre on the other side of Newcastle (about an hour away). They are very expensive for just a little spool. Anyway, looks like Metro is a very popular brand amongst us embroiderers on here.
Good luck love and blessings Chris
