into a Rehab Unit today so they can work with him and hopefully help him to learn how to walk again. Also, OT is going to work with him on doing what ADLs he is capable of doing. My church purchased the needed lumber & the men of the church headed up by my Son n law built a 24 foot ramp today so when ever he is able to come home I will be able to get him in the house. I am home tonight and will try to get some rest. My IBS has reared it's ugly head but then I knew it would because stres brings it on. Thank you all so very much for your much needed prayers. I'll go to church in the morning & back to the hosp. Tomorrow is Ron's 73rd birthday so a cake & some balloons will go along with me.. God bless you all/Lillian
Well hopefully by now you have been to visit Ron and take him some cake and well wishes for his birthday. My Dad's name was Ron too Lillian - so your husband must be a wonderful man. I hope he is listening to his OT's and doing his exercise - it's so important to get moving as soon as possible.
God bless your church and all the men who have done that wonderful ramp - that is an amazing outpouring of love and support from your community.
You make sure you take it easy too - IBS is not a nice thing to have to deal with when you have a patient to look after. Love and blessings Chris

was in rehab for 21 days and then home and PT came to my
house for 3 weeks. After that I went to Phy Therapy at a local hospital for 15 weeks. I just loved the massage!
When I got home from rehab I could walk without my walker.
I did keep it near by. I was driving at 8 weeks after
surgery. Lillian take care of yourself. Maureen
