Here is my take on the Calla Lily Bookmark and matching marker dangles. I reduced the main BM size from 6.8"x2.7" to 6.5"x2.6" & each dangle from 3.84"x2.98" to 1.76"x1.45" so total stitches reduced from 55,313 to 39,972. Worse luck reducing the dangles by 50% means the design is no longer as open as the original but they would have been too large for dangles if left unaltered. I also redigitised the main bookmark to incorporate colour in a couple of places. The colours used are R&A Rayon 2283 Paris Blue & 2325 Lemon. I haven't added the ribbons yet as I can't get to my Stash due to the renovations DH is doing. Thanks for peeking. M Oh, this set is for DIL's Birthday for her bible.

Thanks Shirlener, you can probably appreciate the effort more because you know the way these designs stitch out.
I'm going to tackle changing the Pansy BM so I can do the flower part in Pansy colours. roses 4U, M

The yellow highlighting gives your work real emphasis Meganne. Blue & yellow are pretty together too. Your DIL will be thrilled with her gift.
Please tell me about your bowling.

Thanks Elen, I'm getting more adventurous with every design, just not enough hours to do everything and learn digitising more quickly.

by coco128 27 Apr 2008
Well, unfortunately I have never photographed any of my projects (very few compared to you - you do so much and so many lovely ones). I can't hold a candle to you CUTIES, but I will make a point to take photos and share.

Hi Coco, I have to tell you, this is only my 12th embroidery project in total, I only started embroidering in January and it is so lovely when you share your work here, everyone gives you so much encouragement. So i urge you to join in you will be surprised how wonderful it will make you feel. hugs, Meganne

Thanks Dionna, the main thing is that the design doesn't become too dense. The more you reduce the design the denser it becomes so it's important that the stitches/stitch count also reduces. Embird handles this much better than my other program does but still could be better. roses 4U, M

I love this set, last year I stitched out all of them 10 times and still have a lot left to give away. The use of 2 colours makes it even more interesting. Quite a job to get the color stops in the right places, well done!! I think I'll have a look at the daffodil and try and get that in a different colour.
