There are several companies that sell a soft stretchy fusible interfacing - it is like a knit. I use the one from Pellon - I buy it at the Joanns. It makes the back really soft so it does not scratch the wearer.

This is known as cloud cover and it ironed on after your
embroidery is finished. Makes a nice finish and is soft
to the skin. I am from Quebec, Canada and buy it locally
at Superpunch.com. It is a lot less expensive than if I
purchase at my local fabric store, half the price. Hope this helps.

I get Pellon fusible interfacing,for light to med weight fabrics-found in the fabric dpt at Walmart. Around a $ for 3yd x 15". Prepackaged, usually hanging by the bolts on the wall. Just cut a piece bigger than the design, with rounded corners and iron it on.

I use tender touch by sulky..but it is an iron on ..It is great stuff..

You got your answer--I liked the tip Maryjo gave us about rounding the corners. I have been doing it her way now. :)
