my dear Chinese friend had a new baby and I wanted to do a year of the rabbit for him. When I gave it to his mom, she laughed and said it said "PIG". Back to the drawing board!!!

Laughing out loud!!! Sounds like my kind of embroidery. You try so hard to do everything perfect and something goes wrong. I think the Daughter will find the PIG to be appropriate for a bib design. Thanks for sharing your cute story. ~Carolyn~
