The fabric is of a soft knit and I made a gown to match it is plain with bias around the neck and sleeves its long to go under the housecoat. The pattern #3573 simplicity.

Nice sewing. I priced a robe/gown set a couple weeks ago and the two pieces were close to $75.

wow, I love wearing this one is is so soft and comfy the fabric was only a $1.00 per yr (and about 54" I think ) in was a tube so I had two folded edges making it easier to get the gown and robe set, I bought about 5 yrs still have a piece left for a shortie gown.
