For those of you with Embird, can you point me in the right direction. I just d/l'd the trial, and I would love to watch a (free) video to get started. Is there such a thing?? TIA - Denise

Thank you for your question. I downloaded Embird right before my old computer gave out. It was so overwhelming to me that I deleted it the next day. It didn't help that I had about a thousand too many things going on in life at the moment, but now maybe I can sit down and give it a try. Hopefully this time I get somewhere.

There are quite a number of video's you get with Embird and the help function answers almost any question you can come up with. If it's the digitising part: there are nice tutorials for Studio to be found (apart from the built-in ones) on Clipartopolis under the University-tab as well.

Thank You for this site. I have embird its been like 6 years and never used it. I couldn't understand it. So I had brought me PED 1.0 And that is the only thing that I use. Just to transfer designs into the card and into my Machine. Maybe now I will be able to see how it works and not be afraid. Thanks for the info.

For some reason, these tutorials don't play for me. Do I need to pay for these? I really want just a quick guide to the basic Embird program at this point. I may add Studio at a later point. My main objective is to see how the thread conversion program works and see if it meets my needs before I register the program. Can I load custom thread colors into the trial program, or do I need to register it first? Thanks! Denise

About 8 years ago I bought Embird. It is a wonderful, powerful programme. It is really worth mastering. I learnt by looking at all the icons and then going to the help. The videos will be a great help. I still have much to learn and maybe the videos will help GOOD LUCK

Ruth at www.cantoodesigns.com/tutorials is so knowledgable and helpful in learning Embird. She has several down-to-earth tutorials listed for using Embird. You may want to check out her tutorials.
I love my basic Embird and its Iconizer plug-in.
