Now when I spray, no goo goes on my hoop, only on the perspex surround. Sarah.

Great tip Sarah - yes I would love to see you submit it to EL and get a voucher for designs - go for it - could you share a picture - so we can see it - with and without the hoop?

Good idea! I had to look up perspex, but I suppose you could use anything, even cardboard, or the clear window insert from some packaging. For anyone else who isn't familiar with the name perspex, it is a brand name for an acrylic plastic.

One other thing that might be nice is to add centering marks to the template to line up with the centering marks on the hoop.

Maybe you need something heavier though so it doesn't blow away with the force of the spray.

I cut a piece of paper the same way you have your perspex one - does not last as long as your beautiful one!
