Congratulations, that does sound like a great idea. Do you have a picture you can post? -- Aileen

A picture equals a thousand words. I'm taking care of my mother who's recovering from a stroke so as soon as I return home I'll post one. Thanks for asking. I'm thrilled you all didn't think it was a silly suggestion. Can you tell I come from a construction family? LOL

Congratulations! Great organizing tip.

For those that have slow dial up and for the last posting. This will be replaced at 9am Tuesday and we want everyone to read Sandra's tip.

From Sandra: When I'm working on a freestanding lace design with many color changes, I've found that it's difficult to keep the matching bobbin and thread spool together. I solved this problem by taking a 3/16" dowel and cutting it in 3" long sections. I then insert the dowel section in the spool with the bobbin on top, that way they stay together.

thanks Anita - for keeping this with her posting and for some of us that are slow or don't get here as often as we want.

Greatidea. I do a variation, in that I use pipe cleaners, so I just sent that in while it's fresh in their minds! Anything to make it all easier, right? Always can use some free design money.
