I asked many days ago about embroidery on plastic. I bought this bag at Dollar Store and made some flowers on it. It is for my neighbor. The designs are from Cute

I was looking at bags like that at our Dollarama a few days ago for same thing (different designs tho). I now wish I had bought a couple. This turned out lovely. Lovely flowers too. I do believe I have them. I will have to hunt up your post to get ideas on how to do this. *'s for you. ><>

Letvia did you use anything special so the plastic wouldn't tear away from the stitches? What needle did you use. I have found sometimes when working with plastic it sticks to the machine bed...great job..

I just used heavy WSS. The one that looks like fabric, and the needle is 90/14. Flower and XoXo

Did you have to open the bag up to stitch it? What stabilizer did you use?
by letvia 02 May 2008
Yes mimisews. I cut the sides because the bag didn't have stitches, I used cut away stabilizer on the bottom and heavy water soluble on the top, and after I embroidered it I stitched the sides. It was really easy, You should try. Flower and XoXo

Oh dear Lbrow, she did. I made it thinking in her job since she has to bring clear bags to there but she said that the bag is too pretty to bring it to work and she will use it to the beach. Flower and XoXo
