Hi Jerbar,
I've just had a look on the internet and have put up a couple of sites with the information about the 2 machines. Looks like great prices for them, but of course I live in Australia and I'm not sure what the Irish equivalent would be.
Welcome to this wonderful site - there will be someone along shortly who may have these machines. Have a look at the top of the page under REVIEW there might be some information there.
Check out all the tabs - we have wonderful digitisers who offer their designs for free in the DESIGNS BY CUTIES tab. To the left of the site there are lots of tabs too, so check everything out.
I hope to see more questions from you - someone is on here 24 hours a day!
Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia

In a nutshell, it looks like the 1250 is the Disney version, and the 1200 is the standard embroidery version without the Disney designs added on. I hope that helps.
Welcome to Cute. You will find answers to just about every question you have here, and lots and lots of very friendly people. There are also bunches of free designs, advice, and everything else you could come to expect from a friendly embroidery place.

Welcome to CUTE, my 1250 is without Disney, perhaps it has to be a 1250D to be Disney. The 1200 is a obsolet modell, runing out.<br />There are some updated operating functions. The 1200 needs a computer (USB) and the 1250 can run on a USB flashdrive - perhaps you can find an Irish sewing forum or an British one to help you to gather more information. If you use google traslater try this german forum http://www.hobbyschneiderin.net/portal/showthread.php?p=1264010
to look up the difference.

Sorry Fran I do not know the answer to your question. Do you have a Brothers dealer that you could call or e-mail for an answer? Want to welcome you to "Cute" there are many wonderful people here with alot of knowledge. All questions are welcome. H&*

I don't know either, Fran, I have a Janome 300E and just love it. Perhaps a UK Brother site could give you the info, or maybe a Google search? I just wanted to welcome you to the Cute family. We have several UK members here, but if I'm not mistaken, you're the first one I've seen from Ireland. Big, big welcome to you, I hope you find lots of good friends and information here. Hugs, Marji
