So in your all's opinion would rayon thread look better than poly thread on Christmas skirt. Does it make a big difference. Where would be best place to buy.

I think that would be a personal choice. I have put my Robison Anton rayon thread next to the Metro poly and I could not tell the difference. Use what you feel comfortable with. There is a huge fan club of Metro thread here at cute. Hugs..Carol

So can you take the colors Embroidery Library calls for and convert to metro Threads
Oh and thank you very much. I already messed when ordering designs and ordered two different sizes.
Embroidery Library has a thread conversion tool you can access with the thread color chart for your designs on their website. You can go thru the trouble of converting, of just look at the colors they used and find ones in your stash that match pretty closely. Or, do whatever colors you want. They use Madiera rayon colors, I think, but the poly colors are just as shiny, in my opinion. Rayon threads just come in way more colors and shades than poly, if you're doing like animal fur or something with a lot of subtle color changes. Hugs, Marji
Yes, you can dl the Metro Color Match program. It will convert to most all the threads. Emblibrary uses Madeira so you can use the color match for that. Some of their choices are not the greatest so I just use the colors I want. Oh and if you don't want the 2 different sizes, email emblibrary and tell them you made an error and chances are they'll let you exchange it. Hugs..Carol

Just remember, polyester is colorfast and rayon is not. Rayon (a wood by-product) may fade in the sun, and may need to be dry-cleaned. So, if you use rayon (or some rayon with some ployester) then avoid direct sunlight, and either handwash or dryclean.

Well if there is not a big difference I'll try adding colors in poly from metro. I'm sure she won't want to dryclean. Thanks a bunch
