Found a remnant of the Boys will be Boys dark blue fabric. Used a couple of the free bluework sets from MySweetEmbroidery. They stitched out nice and quick. I also used them because it was my first project on the new machine and was getting a feel for the machine.
Also, there was talk a couple of weeks ago about the designs on MySweetEmbroidery. As you can see they turned out great. Can't wait for my next project now.

forgot to say your quilt is lovely and i like the edge peekos
The points on the edges is something passed down through the generations. Every quilt my mother and grandmother did had points on it. Always gives a nice finishing touch.

I'll try to get more light on it and upload again. Maybe get a better angle. The hand quilting by my mother really made it look wonderful.
