lucky he didn't get taken back to the park he was found at,LOL!! Of course I would never do that.....anyway, we are doing a major remodel in the living room & rather than the expense of replacing the sofa which is in great shape other than the top of the back in 2 spots, I am making these 2 great scarfs out of rich chocolate suede (washable suede)....on one am putting the cat walk design except I took the cat out and inserted the aztec cat and it looks really sharp, I did that in the middle then on each side of the scarf and repeating just 2 pine trees and leaves. We are doing 2 accent walls in the living room in chocolate color so that is why am using the chocolate suede. BTW, the machine is running super!!!!!! Hugs...Vicki

LOL!!!!! Sammi is the only one out of the 6 that used the couch.....the others use the scratching posts....we used the squirt gun on him when we caught him doing it, but when you are out or asleep, not much you can do!!!!! He's damn lucky this wasn't a brand new sofa...speak of the devil, here he comes to lay on the machine and get vibrated around.......

Yes, Carolyn, it feels good to do something for my house once in awhile and you are right, the work will get done in it's own time!!!!!!!!! You are welcome for the designs, am so happy to share and glad you guys like them......hugs back..

So glad you're making something for yourself from your own designs!! Now, I was given to understand that cats scratch my sofa because they like the feel of the pebbly fabric on their little feeties, it's like tree bark. I was also given to understand that they would be far far less likely to bother with a smooth leather sofa, because it doesn't feel like anything they scratch to mark in the wild. Hmmmmm. Perhaps she was going to try to sell me a leather sofa, hee hee hee. Hope you're going to put pictures of these scarves in Projects, love to see them! Hugs, Marji
