You can go to this site: http://freeembroiderystuff.embroiderydesigns.com - Look on left side of page and click on "Freebies" - then click on "Format Conversion" here you can upload any design you have and change it to another format for FREE - you may have to join the site, which is free. Also you can get 3 free designs per week. Just do a search under Free designs. I've often found just the right one by doing this.
Also, if you have a pes file that does not work - just upload it on this site and change to any other format and then upload that new format and change to pes again and all should be fine!

Same tool like on the page that sllakin found is here under the "embroidery tools" > online conversion tool. Use it very often before I got my embird and in trouble cases eve today. Freebies-section looks similar ;o)
Greetings, Bettina

Yes, ansalu, they are the same site. Guess I've just been around too long and still call it Free Embroidery Stuff - LOL

Thank you so much for this link I will most certainly download it. Such a pity I deleted a whole lot of designs which I couldnt open and I now have learned at Cuties that they needed to be downgraded for my machine Sad but not the end of the world!!

I'll probably get pounced on, but please be aware that what you are looking at there is not the sew-out of the design, but a piece of clip art. I downloaded this design, and this clipart has been auto-digitized, my Janome Digitizer Pro showed over a hundred jump stitches, some under and some over that red tongue. Maybe it works better in the original PES format, but in my Janome formats, I'd not be anxious to use it without a lot of changes. Just be aware, might want to do a test sew before you put it on a good t shirt. Again, the picture you're seeing in DBC is just that, a picture, clipart, not a sew out. Hugs, Marji

I was able to load it in wilcom trusizer. You might try that. Would not be willing to convert it without the digitizers permission. Sorry.

I tried stitching this design out very shortly after I got my machine. VERY disappointed with the results. It isn't what it looks like. My STRONG advice to you is to stitch it out on something other than a garment prior to ruining a good piece of clothing.
