Words cannot express the glee in my heart and I've decided to make Diana's optical series my first multihooping project.
I had been thinking of a pillow for a bench near my pond and
she has created a beauty but I will make it bigger and add some
other elements in a composition that will just make me want to
smile and smile.
Won't get machine till September and oohh I can't wait.
Thanks Cuties for being such a fabulous group and making my
day, month, CXMAS ......LOL

That's great that you're getting a new machine and have a project already lined up.
But, what kind of a machine are you getting?

Ahh, I saw the Huqsvarna diamond with a 18 or 20's inch hoop doing that Martha Stewart pillow that was on cover of magazine and drooled at our local Joanns.
But that wasn't going to happen ever for me- way to pricey.
So I have a Singer Futura 350 5x7 hoop,
and now I'm adding a Single Futura Quartet
with a 6x10 hoop with multihooping built in upto 11x20 I think. Not as great as other machines but at $799 with extra software and feet included its a great deal. I got it on flex pay on HSN.
Thats where I got my first machine and had
to learn all on my own and that was tough but I had help through the internet and by
George I make my machine sing and get through its little ticks and troubles at times. So I have high hopes for the next
generation to be great. I saw some videos
on multihooping and it seems intuititve and easier than splitting on embird but gosh I could go on and on .....I've waited
4 years for a larger hoop and now I can do
bigger things so much easier.
Thanks for sharing in my happiness.
Hugs,
Linda

Congrats!!! Having a bigger hoop is really fun, you'll be able to do so much with it. That was a good price, too. Hugs, Marji
